We have experienced many issues with Blackboard and Google Chrome resulting in Failed error messages when uploading content. Since we are always running on the latest version of Blackboard, you need to ensure that you have your web browsers up to date. We have noticed that Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge has been the two web browsers with the most stability when working in Blackboard. Please update your web browsers on a regular basis. Installing web browsers are free and we have a direct link to the browser download page listed here.

Blackboard continues to make refinements and improvements with our SaaS deployments based upon data gathered from our usage of Learn within the cloud. Blackboard Cloud Services has determined that to improve the speed and reliability of Learn within the cloud we need to migrate from a Gluster06 filesystem to a NetApp filesystem. This migration will begin on May 30th at 11:00 PM CST. We expect total downtime to be no more than 5 hours and should be back up and running on May 31st at 6 AM CST.

UPDATED: The dates for students to use financial aid to make bookstore purchases has changed. The dates Summer I bookstore purchases are May 21 - June 15. Summer II bookstore purchase dates are Jun 25 - July 20. Contact the Business Office 361-354-2220/2305 or 2213 with any questions.
